The hotel rooms had a mix of pros and cons; they were decorated in a 1970's style but seemed a bit worn with chipped paint and scruffiness. However, the rooms were fabulous overall, which provided a comfortable stay.

Staying at this hotel was a great experience overall. The rooms were spacious and kept clean, although not soundproof, so I could hear people talking early in the morning. They were bright and clean, but it's worth noting there wasn't a bathtub available. The service was top-notch, with lovely and friendly staff who were very accommodating and cheerful. However, there was an issue that couldn't be fixed immediately, and despite assurances, it was never resolved. The location was perfect, with easy access to central Dublin, lovely surroundings, and close proximity to nice pubs and eateries. The dining experience was good, with a clean dining room, although the continental breakfast buffet could use some improvement by adding more vegetable options. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.

The hotel had very clean rooms that were well-appointed and had everything we needed. The service was nice and quick, even accommodating an early check-in. The location, though not right downtown, was perfect for my needs and easily accessible by bus. The dining experience had excellent variety, though there were some issues with cold food in the mornings. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value for money.

The hotel is located in a beautiful part of the city, excellent for access to the city and UCD. The rooms at night are totally outdated but spotless, as are the bathrooms. The staff was very nice and clean, very friendly, and helpful all the time. They were unable to repair a water shutoff problem in our 3rd-floor room. The location was quiet and felt safe, with a few shops within walking distance. The dining experience at 10 am on Sunday morning was really good with tasty and good variety of foods available.

I ended up paying more for the last room left, which was a nice room with a double bed and extra bed, fridge, and microwave. The room was very cosy with a comfortable bed and nice crisp bed linen, but the price was a bit high for the offering.
